My aim was to create an immersive event ARG which included physical installation, projection and layered game design elements. Saturnalia media included, 3D modelling, video, physical Installation, costuming and theatre.
I created promotional videos such as this one to promote the event and blur the lines between the fictional experience and real life in the lead up to the event. I also created and manufactured virtual and actual fictional soft drinks for the event, seen on the right.
As part of my production I used The Sims 4 to create a 3D simulation of the venue and used this to train and explain the event concept to the production team.
The game is played in 3 main rounds in a venue large enough to support 5 temple areas, an induction room and Ritual room. The game can be played by up to 100 people at a time and takes between 2-3 hours to complete.
Videos
These are mixed media ads I made to build the world and promote the event. The 3D models, footage and concepts were created by me. The videos also use clips from science fiction movies to set the tone and footage that we recorded in the Geekpunk Studio.
